I have some great news to share with you today. A few months ago the United States Sentencing Commission strongly encouraged Congress to amend the federal firearm statute. Those recommendations now have the potential to dramatically reduce my sentence to a more realistic and sensible term should Congress choose to act upon them.
Historically Congress has been exceptionally slow to act upon nearly all matters brought before them. However, recent events have proven that social media can be utilized to influence the agenda and decisions of most policy makers.
